NEW DELHI: The training program for Its first batch of the Latest central government Agencies, the Indian Skill Development Services, Started today at the Administrative Training Institute (ATI) at Mysuru.
The training program for its first batch of the most recent central government agencies, the Indian Skill Development Services, started today at the Administrative Training Institute (ATI) at Mysuru. The first batch of officers at the ISDS cadre were chosen through the Indian Engineering Service Examination conducted by UPSC.
The new cadre of ISDS Officers will reinforce the skill development eco-system from the nation. The aim behind developing a new service would be to institutionalize the Skill Development environment in the nation.
Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey congratulated the inductees of this new service and stated,”The new service provides a fresh impetus to the government’s skilling initiative substantially improving the efficiency and effective implementation of the various schemes. In years to come the ministry will have the ability to produce a work force of trained skill administrators that will further enable us to attain the set goals of the Skill India Mission.”
“Administered training is paramount to confront big challenge of skilling Indians. Catering to the highly specific job of art development, the ISDS services are a special mixture of skills, engineering, management and public service,” he added.
The cadre comprises of 3 articles at Senior Administrative Grade, 28 articles at Junior Administrative Grade, 120 posts at Senior Time Scale and 112 articles at Junior Time Scale.
Mr. Rajesh Aggarwal, Director General, DGT, also encouraged the new joiners stating”It’s our joy to welcome the youngest batch of ISDS officers, and we all are very optimistic that with their talent and fresh ideas they will bring many constructive changes in the ability eco system to further strengthen it.”
As part of this training program, a comprehensive summary of administration and management of skilling particularly, and operation of the government system in general, will be provided. Following this capsule, there’ll be a foundation course and further training will be given to the officers to enhance them with the knowledge and skills required to run the ability eco-system.
